The New York City Lesson: Every budding pilot dreams of soaring up the Hudson River and taking in the sights of Manhattan Island.  This hour plus flight experience starts at the HFA flight-line with a pre-flight mission briefing with a FAA Certified Flight Instructor. This flight includes the South Shore of Long Island, Fire Island, The Verranzano Narrows Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Governors Island, Ground Zero (Twin Towers Memorial), Empire State Building, Central Park, and the George Washington Bridge.

The Long Island Lesson: This hour long flight experience starts at the HFA flight-line with a pre-flight mission briefing with a FAA Certified Flight Instructor. HFA allows the student to decide what parts of Long Island to fly over.  For instance many who experience this flight enjoy flying along the North or South Shore of Long Island. including a trip around the Montauk Light House.  And of course almost everyone wants (if possible) to fly over their house before heading back to the Airport!

Basic Intro-Flight Lesson: The introductory flight lesson is meant for the serious prospect who wants to see once and for all if flying is for him/her.  This basic flight will take place mainly near the airport introducing the student to basic flight procedures, check-lists, navigation, radio communication and much more.  It also give the prospective student the opportunity to evaluate HFA as a flight school.  The introductory flight is the best all around first experience.
