Heritage Flight Academy and Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology partnered in 2012 to provide excellence in the field of flight training and aeronautical knowledge to foster safe, competent future professional pilots. Students earn the Aircraft Operations Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree at Vaughn while flight training at HFA. As Vaughn’s only approved flight training contractor Heritage Flight Academy has expertly prepared students to earn the private pilot certificate, instrument rating, commercial certificate , multi-engine, and certified flight instructor ratings and have seen graduates join the airlines. “It’s a great partnership. Vaughn students study at the college, flight train with us during the week and on weekends. We hire as a first preference Vaughn students as flight instructors.
